Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal
This region is bounded on the west by magnificent wilderness areas within the Maloti-Drakensberg Transfrontier Park, nearly 300 000ha. This area is core to our specialist knowledge and home to endemic plants, animals and nearly 700 Bushman rock art sites.

We offer varied tours in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. Our tours include birding and flower tours, hikes to see Bushman rock art or the classic Sani Pass trip into the different terrain and culture of north-eastern Lesotho through an altitude rise of 1700m. We offer visits to areas from midland mist-belt forests to the alpine zones of the high Maloti Mountains.

We will customise individual trips for you including the possibility of tasty home-catered meals. We are registered as field guides and rock art custodians; we have required public transport, cross-border and insurance accreditation.
Sharron and Aldo Berruti live in Underberg in the Southern Drakensberg and love its natural environment: scenically diverse, spectacular and very rich in special plants and animals. We invite you to immerse yourself in the landscape, biodiversity, geology, culture and history of our region through our various tours, by vehicle and foot. We want to share our specialist knowledge and love of this area and hope our tours will leave a lasting enrichment of your lives.
